Introduction

The library function gatherInformationofIpA in /ID2TLib/GatherInformationOfIpA.py is used to gathering more information about an given IP address, by running the whois on the command line and filtering the output for information.

Input

  • The Input of this function is a string containing the IP address. For Example: "93.197.73.22"

Requirements

  • For executing this function, an internet connection is required
  • The command line tool 'whois' is required to run this function
